A Brief Look at Big Time Gaming
Real Time Gaming are a company with a long history of online gaming software development. They produce games for just about all sectors of the market, operate their own gaming platform and offer site development and remote hosting for other licenced casino operators too. They are not to be confused with the similarly named but Australia based Reel Time gaming.
Founded in 1998, Real Time Gaming was originally based in Atlanta, Georgia, before the United States’ government regulations with regard to online and other forms of remote gambling were tightened toward the end of the 20th Century.
The company was acquired by Hastings International in 2007. This company is owned by a conglomerate called HBM Group, which is based on the Dutch Caribbean protectorate of Curacao. As a result of both the takeover and the increasingly hostile regulatory atmosphere in the US, Real Time Gaming was re-located to Costa Rica in 2008.
These moves mean that Real Time Gaming for the most part operate outside the United Kingdom regulated market. However, a few of their legacy games can still be found on some UK licenced online casinos.
With over two decades of history under their belt, Real Time Gaming have released more than 300 different games. These include slots, table and card games, video poker and more. They also run their own live gaming studio for live streaming games. None of these live streamed games are regulated for United Kingdom based players.
Slots comprise the majority of their output, and they have an extensive range of contemporary and classic titles. New games continue to roll off the production line, including titles like Coyote Cash, Enchanted Garden II and Zhanshi.
It is still possible to find Real Time Gaming titles, especially slots, on some UK licenced online casinos, but these are becoming increasingly rare as time goes on.
